I was trying to post this yesterday, but just didn't have time with all the activities we had going on. I find this story interesting and put numbers to a hunch I've had for a long time. I think there are some important messages embedded in this article about the importance of fathers, the power of hard work and striving to create more options and opportunities for your family. I also think it provides additional foundation for the argument that you can get by without a father (and be a success or failure), but that having a good father in the equation is extremely helpful. I take nothing away from women and how important they are to society and our families, but it is nice to see some positive press about good fathers and how important that role is to developing the next generation!
